I WANT TO SLEEP UNDER THE STARS NATURE CRAFT FOR KIDS
Today, I’ve got an adorable new nature craft for kids idea that I think you’ll love! If you’re looking for a fun new kids activity or gift idea, look no further. Unlimited Squirrels: I Want to Sleep Under the Stars! is an adorable new book by Mo Willems with an ensemble cast of Squirrels, Acorns, and pop-in guests. This book is full of funny, furry adventure, bonus jokes, quirky quizzes, nutty facts, and so, so many Squirrels.
I love repurposed nature crafts and this cute new children’s book inspired my new Under the Stars Nature Craft. The book makes a great holiday gift for kids and the artwork would be an adorable homemade gift to adults from kids.
I WANT TO SLEEP UNDER THE STARS!
In I Want to Sleep Under the Stars, Zoom Squirrel dreams of sleeping under the night stars. The Squirrel pals are excited to help! But will their encouragement be enough—or too much? Do you know more about sleeping under the stars than the Squirrels do? You will by the end of this book!
This adorable book also addresses a range of physical, emotional, and social development to engage kids in the overall reading experience. I love how this provides parents and teachers with great conversation starters.
EASY NATURE CRAFT FOR KIDS
All you need for this cute kids craft is to collect twigs, acorns and leaves from outside. Along with my free printable starry night paper, you and your kids can make an adorable Under the Stars work of art.
Print the paper, add to a frame and let kids decorate their outdoor world with items from nature or around your home. Make trees from leaves and twigs. You can even personalize your kids artwork by adding a photo of your child inside of the tent. Kids will love it!
